Mohandas karamchand gandhi was the famous leader of independence movement of india.
He was born on 2 october 1869 in porbandar. He was the son of Karamchand Ghandhi and Putlibai.

Gandhiji family
At the age of 13 Mahatma gandhi was got married with Kasturba. They had four sons. When Gandhi was of 18 years he left India and moved to London on september 1888 to become a barister.
At initial some days in London Gandhiji tried to adopt the lifestyles of the peoples in London by spending his time to learn english and french and voilin and dance classes. but later he realized that he was there only for studies so, he decided to leave all these things and to become a serious student and starts living simple lifestyles.
Gandhiji passed their exams sucessfully and retuned to India on june 10, 1891. For the next two years Gandhiji keep practicing in India.
After some years Gandhiji again moved to south Africa in order to gain more knowledge about law and order. This was South Africa which convert a shy and silent man to a potent and resilent leader. On one of his business trip somthing happened which was very strange for him. When one day Gadhiji was boarded the train at Pietermartizburg station, there the official told him not to travel in first class but he has neede to travel in the third class, But as Gandhiji had the ticket of first class so he refuse to travel on third class. On this reaction of Gandhiji one of a policeman came there and threw Gandhiji out of the Train along with his luggage. This type of discrimination made Gandhiji think of that wheather he had to go back to his home of fight against the discrimination scattered by Britist rulers for Indians. Then he decided to fight against the discrimination and for the rights of Indians in South Africa.
In 1906 Gandhiji again grown up with Satyagrah which means the “passive resistence”. But For Gandhiji Styagrah truly means for truth force.
Due to his civil disobedience campaign he got jailed. He again conclude 320 km march towards the sea to collect the salt which was also called as Dandi march. On release from prison in 1931 he the round table conference in London and conferenced over the reformation of Indian contitution.. In 1946 He also discussed with Cabinet mission and which recommended the new indian constitutional structure. Unfortunately on 1947 after independence when he tried to stop the hindu muslim conflict he died shooted by a hindu fanatic named Nathuram Godse. The last word he said during his death was “Hey Ram”. This accident scattered a heavy sorrow and sadness for whole country and their peoples and we all had lost our great leader Mahatma Gandhi.
